Overview

Over the last few decades, there has been a huge decline in fertility rate. India thus faces a serious challenge of high infertility rate, coupled with significantly low success rates. There is a shortage of skilled Infertility Specialists in India with only about 10% of the specialists performing IVF procedures thus making it imperative for Gynaecologists to join hands together in the objective of enabling infertile couple to seek the right diagnosis and treatment.

Thus the “Fellowship in Infertility & Reproductive Medicine” is designed keeping in mind the subject specific academic needs and industry requirements. The course will provide an understanding of the complex issues surrounding infertility treatments and the techniques to perform procedures. To make this course more holistic, stress is also given to the existing guidelines, regulations and protocols that enable us to perform ethically as well as accurately

• Semen analysis & semen preparation for ART procedures
• IUI technique

Advanced infertility training

• IVF indication & patient selection
• Stimulation protocols in IVF
• Ovum Pick-Up (OPU) & Embryo Transfer (ET)
